The clinical committee’s primary responsibility is to review and recommend clinical programs that deliver on the quadruple aim. The committee works to improve the coordination and integration of clinical care across provider groups, promoting high-quality, cost-effective and value-added services. The clinical committee works closely with the finance and contracting committee to ensure payer agreements and provider incentives align and support the care model.
The finance and contracting committee’s primary responsibilities are to review and recommend for Board approval managed care contracts with payers, and to develop a performance payment model that aligns participant incentives in a way that creates value for participating providers and achieves quadruple aim goals. The committee also reviews and recommends the annual financial plan for Board approval. This committee works closely with the clinical committee to ensure payer contracts, incentives and operations support the care model.

Lisa Wetherbee is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Trinsic, a physician-led, clinically integrated network (CIN) consisting of more than 900 primary care providers. Lisa led the merger and subsequent integration of two accountable care organizations (ACOs) owned by UCHealth and Intermountain Health. That 50/50 joint venture was renamed Trinsic. Combining the strength of those two health systems, Lisa and her executive team are transforming medical management. Specifically, these efforts consist of management of patient care, pharmacy management, management of finances and providing data analytics that translate into more robust services for the member medical practices.
Lisa brings extensive CIN and medical practice to her role. Prior to joining UCHealth, she was instrumental in the design and creation of Colorado Care Partners, a HealthONE/HCA-owned CIN. She served in the past as Vice President of Practice Solutions for Physician Health Partners (PHP), the largest independent CIN in the Denver market. Her focus was on senior and pediatric programs.
Prior to leading CINs and ACOs, Lisa gained clinic operational skills in many roles.
